Education Council has three sub-committees that assist the council in decision making by bringing recommendations forward. These sub-committees are long-standing and cyclical in nature.
Integrated Curriculum Committee
As a sub-committee of the Education Council, the Integrated Curriculum Committee conducts the review of curriculum on behalf of the Education Council to:
- Ensure that institutional policy and standards have been met
- Confirm that implementation and operational considerations have been addressed
- Make recommendations for curriculum approval
- Refer to Education Council issues that indicate a need for an educational standard/policy or require clarity on the application of a policy or standard
The Integrated Curriculum Committee generally meets once a month for a regular three-hour meeting. Any unfinished business from this meeting is scheduled for a "carry-over" meeting (approx. 3 hours). Meetings are normally held on Mondays and Wednesdays, between 1-4 pm and alternate between campuses as space allows.
Faculty members are appointed to the Integrated Curriculum Committee by the School's Dean.
