Award description

The Pat Wong Memorial Award was established in 1991 by her family and colleagues in the program formerly called Continuing Care Assistant at AV��Դ. This Award pays tribute to Pat’s enthusiasm, enjoyment for teaching and love for her students. This Award will be given to a student in each graduating class who demonstrates outstanding qualities of caring in the practical components of the program.

Nominations by faculty open in October (Annually)

Criteria

The Student must:

be enrolled fulltime in the Health Care Assistant (HCA) Certificate program during the current offering or academic calendar year.

Most of the awards are given to students on the basis of nomination. You will be selected by your instructors or the chair of the department based on your academic performance, enthusiasm, participation and volunteer or work experience.
