The BCDHA Award of Excellence is for a听graduating Dental Hygiene (DHYG) Diploma program听student who has demonstrated the highest clinical proficiency and who is a student member of the BCDHA. The award consists of a framed certificate and $500. The award recipient will be chosen on the recommendation of the faculty.

Criteria
The student must:
- be graduating from the听Dental Hygiene (DHYG) Diploma program听during the current offering or academic calendar year.

Most of the awards are given to students on the basis of nomination. You will be selected by your instructors or the chair of the department based on your academic performance, enthusiasm, participation and volunteer or work experience.
