Award description

This award is for聽students in first and second year in the Allied Health & Technologies programs (Certified Medical Laboratory Assistant, Certificate,聽Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Diploma, or聽Medical Radiography, Diploma)聽who demonstrate extraordinary grit, courage, resolve, and strength of character in the pursuit of their educational goals while maintaining a positive attitude and engaging with their peers and instructors in dedication to their learning.

Nominations open October 1 (annually)

Criteria

The student must:

  • be enrolled full-time in Certified Medical Laboratory Assistant, Certificate,聽Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Diploma, or聽Medical Radiography, Diploma聽during the current offering or academic calendar year.

Most of the awards are given to students on the basis of nomination. You will be selected by your instructors or the chair of the department based on your academic performance, enthusiasm, participation and volunteer or work experience.
