AV资源 has a history of breaking down barriers to education for students. That is why it is important for the college to support Black Excellence Day.
Black Excellence Day takes place on Jan. 15 each year, or the preceding Friday if it falls on a weekend or holiday. The date was selected as Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was born on Jan. 15, 1929.
AV资源 acknowledges the ongoing civil rights struggle of Black and racialized Canadians. Black Excellence Day is an opportunity for us all to stand in solidarity.
The College celebrates the diversity of its students and employees and sees diversity as a strength, recognizing its role in eliminating discrimination and fostering a barrier-free learning and working environment.
